A midwife by day, novice cook by night. This blog covers her journey of expanding her cooking and baking skills, with some snippets of a midwife's life along the way. Originally started in snowy New England, the Baking Midwife has now moved her life, work, and blog to the tropics. Accompanied by her Partner-in-Crime (who not only washes the dishes when she cooks but also makes a mean bean and cheese quesadilla), a butter loving Courage dog, and a gray tabby who likes to cause a ruckus in the kitchen, she will attempt to incorporate some of the Caribbean into her everyday cooking.
